The Death Penalty

People often ask what is to be done about the death penalty. It is an important topic, especially for the people that were involved. For a moment, step out of your busy and might I say inconsiderate life style and place them in the shoes of someone who's lost their brother or sister, father or mother, son or daughter. Maybe you are that person. I imagine that you can feel the hatred, the desire for revenge, the deep intense burning in your heart that refuses to be extinguished. What did these people ever do to bring this type of suffering over their heads? These people demand justice. The death penalty of the person that killed their loved one is one of the few things that can calm this ravishing storm within their hearts. If you disagree, I have to ask, "Did you ever lose a person that you loved so much that you would have given your life for?" If you answered yes to the last question I might ask, "Did you really love that person, or did you just think that you did?"
